Some guys would kill for this opportunity. Film yourself rding, get sponsored, get girls and get paid. Not exactly that easy but this contest will definitely help in that direction. Check out more details here.
Gear For a Year is to create the biggest possible prize for an unsponsored BMX rider. Riders from all over will upload their “sponsor me” videos to shredordie.com to win one year’s worth of product from all participating sponsors, covering hard goods, apparel, and shoes. Along with a paid trip for themselves and their filmer to Camp Woodward!
Videos submitted can be no longer than 2 minutes in length and all footage must be from one individual rider. The contest sponsors will choose the “Gear For a Year” winner.
Head over to shredordie.com for more info, to check out the promo video and get ready to enter on August 1st.
Thanks to everyone that entered the C. Doyle’s Turndown Challenge. All you guys that sent in pics to us absolutely rule! After the jump you can also see video of C. Doyle talking about the winners and why they won. Below are the top 3 winners from the contest. You can see their full pics on the previous Challenge post. Thanks again men!
Winners:
Third Place: Travis Kincaid
Second Place: Dylan Lopez
First Place: Brad Word. Chris mentioned Easton Turner as the winner but Brad was using Easton’s email address and we went off those for the names. Sorry Brad.
We’ve received a ton of turndown pics for the contest, more than what we ever expected. We even had entries from a couple of pros, haha. Below (after the jump) is the top pics that we really liked. If you don’t see your pic, please don’t be offended. We judged a lot on how clicked the turndown is and the quality of the pic. C. Doyle will hand pic the top 3 by this weekend. Still not too late to get your guys’ pics in to us. Contest ends on Thursday, the first. Thanks again guys.

Hammin (Scott) Hamlin, from across the pond just sent over these last week from the Simpel Session. What a fun loving guy, huh.
