In the words of Artie Lang…F-I-R-E! Rob “The Machine” Wise has a sick photo in the new issue of Plus this month (seen above). The man can pop higher than anyone I’ve ever seen. His part for Last Chance is already lookin’ like it’ll be epic. Stay tuned.
“In a world where rock stars of BMX thrive, lies a young man with a passion that rises up from obscurity and becomes the greatest in the world.” = Priceless!
I remember awhile back, Chris Doyle mentioning something about a BMX movie he was shooting for. Didn’t think anything of it till Enns had a link to it on his facebook page. I don’t know if anyone can make a BMX “movie” cool or somewhat motivating to watch over and over but it’s cool that guys want to go for it. I’m still waiting for the Rocky of BMX movies.
Dennis has been putting in a lot of work for his part in Last Chance. Needless to say his section is gonna be unreal. Dennis was up in the 909 yesterday riding trails. Click below to see his impression of Chad Harrington.
Ever wonder what it feels like to be Dave Osato? The guys at Little Devil did, and they had this cut out mask in the their catalogue/zine in 05′. Click below for the full page.
This was my first picture in a magazine ever, from the July 97′ issue of BMXPLUS! This was at a contest in Providence Rhode Island. I drove down from Toronto with the Basic Bikes crew, who i was riding for at the time. Troy McMurray rode brake less at this contest and it was the first time a lot of people had ever seen that style of riding. I definitely had all my safety gear on , including a Bell Moto5 full face helmet for this ice grind.
Another beautiful Saturday spent clip stackin’ for Last Chance.
We’ve been in the same building in Buena Park, CA for the last 11 years and we finally outgrew it and moved on up to a bigger/ better building in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Gonna miss the good times we’ve had there and all the random homeless people sleeping in our boxes in Buena Park. Adios.
We’ll have more news and pics of our new place asap.

Christian just sent over this self edited online edit. Christian is probably one of the most underrated riders out there and after you see this edit, I’m sure you’ll agree. Christian originally sent this over titled “Last Chance leftovers”. This video is gonna be insane!
Mike has a really cool wallpaper up at the RIDE site. Check it out here.
Dave loosens up for the first session in Flagstaff. Click for more pics.
We were on our way to Flagstaff when we saw this ditch from the side of the freeway. 6 hours later, there was a hand full of unbelievable clips in the camera. Click for more pics.
We were approached by a gang of kids headed by Malibu’s most wanted in this park, to make sure we weren’t “tagging”. Thanks god we weren’t or we would felt the wrath of a dozen 15 year olds and their dog Fluffy. Click for more pics from day 2.
Here’s a few pics from the first day of filming in Las Vegas. The whole crew(Christian,Dennis,Rob,Tate,Osato,Biz) shredded and there were some bangers clocked for Last Chance. Click below for a couple more pics.

“It’s springtime here in Pittsburgh which means it’s time to get the trails running. Been trying to get stuff done at the trails despite the drought that we’ve been in for the last couple of weeks. I haven’t been riding too too much due to a badly bruised heel, should only be a few more days though and I’ll be back shredding!” Doyle. Click below for a trails tutorial.
*UPDATE: CONTEST IS CLOSED. THANKS FOR ENTERING.
We had a number of inquires on what the Rob was doing in the grip ad from yesterday. First 5 guys that tell us what Rob is doing in the picture wins a pair of black Rob Wise grips. Check out the full ad and details after the jump. Good luck!
Rob Wise put in a year of his life designing and testing these grips. Rob molded clay samples from his own bare hands just like in Ghost. Super soft, grippy and has a bigger o.d. Be sure to check them out at a Demolition dealer nearest you. Check out Rob’s grip ad and details after the jump.
I’ve been sitting on these pics for some time for some reason or another. Skier J shot these while Dave was on a trip to Utah last year. Enjoy.
We’re going way back with this shot. This must have been 99-2000 and Dave was still on Schwinn and Osiris at the time. This spot was around the corner from our house in Port Coquitlam. I’m still driving the same truck that’s in the background. These days were some of the best times.

This is too good! I’m guessing him and his buddy filming him didn’t have state of the art walkie talkies?
Dave Osato graced the cover of Chase issue#6, in the summer of 2000. You don’t see to many people doing superman’s over 6ft double coping spines like Osato does them. Click below to see the full cover.

Mike has a really cool interview up at FUEL. Just look at Mike’s schedule from the question below. I think he also reveals that he’s filming for a TV show that the interviewer didn’t even touch. Maybe you’ll see a Demolition interview of Mike soon, where he talks about that in depth.
“I know you’re an avid traveller and hit up a bunch of countries in 2009…what’s on the agenda for 2010? Are you heading to any interesting locations anytime soon?
Well in the next 3 months I got a few: London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Boston, Quebec, Toronto, New York, Tavarua, Fiji, Kuwait, and Iraq, now that I wrote it down seems like a lot to do between now and the middle of June, as well as film a TV show almost 5 days a week, haha.”
Mike,Biz,and myself went into LA yesterday to film for an upcoming episode of Built to Shred. We were at the abandon Lincoln Heights prison in Downtown. We were able to roam through by ourselves and its was pretty cool and creepy at the same time. Click below for a few more pics.

Mike has been super busy as usual, filming, traveling, acting and the usual Rooftop antics. Glenn PP and Mike recently went on trips from Mexico to Spain and then all the way to exotic Arizona to film the above video edit. Mike has been in the game longer than most of you’ve been alive and yes, he’s still shredding the gnar more than most too. Mike also has a new interview out in the latest DIG. Check it out for $.99 on your iPhone.
Mike and Biz decided last minute to take off to Arizona and New Mexico to get some clips for the upcoming DVD. Biz says they been finding sick spots, and this pic definitely proves that. Click below to see some more spots.

Chris Doyle’s old/ never been used clips for this months Feb edit. Even Chris’ older footage is better than most of guys’ banger footage. Watching the trail stuff of him is amazing!
