RIDEbmx‘s Interbike video of our very own sales rep, Kevin Rust running you through some of the new goods at Interbike 2014.
Interbike 2014 day 1 is officially over and think everyone; Union/Merged, Vital, and RIDEbmx did their rounds of product shots and videos today. First up is RIDE’s photo gallery of all our new goods/ colors for next year. Above is our new marble colorway for ALL our aluminum parts. Check out what else we have in the works at RIDEbmx HERE>>
Dennis’ Rig line has officially all landed and we couldn’t be more stoked to get them out there and have you guys just as stoked on them as us. These 3 parts have been through the ringer with multiple heavy hitters, and Dennis himself, riding them all year. Dennis would not let us get them out there till the parts went through full testing and he was 100% satisfied with how they came out. Between his busy schedule we we caught up with Dennis about his new Rig line for a mini interview about the parts and what goes into each one. Hit more to see/ read more.
The Tripod seat/ post has been around a bit now and think most brands have moved over to it for it’s simplicity and function. They just got a website and this cool video to go along with it. Check it out and maybe this will help your decision to convert.
“We use the Tripod because it’s simple, lightweight, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Our rider’s specifically requested it for those reasons and we approve.” – Brian Castillo / Demolition Parts
Another year, another Interbike in Vegas. We can’t believe it’s already that time again. Didn’t we just ring in the new year not too long ago? If you’re going to be at Interbike next week, then stop by the booth, get some free items in these handy, biodegradable 180 Dist bags we’ll be giving out, and check out our new Demolition parts that we’re offering up for 2014/15. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes getting another dialed line up going and we’re excited with all of the new colors, new completes, and new products. We’ve got a lot to show and we’re really excited to get them out there and see what people think. See you at booth 3103.
That’s right, our long awaited Dennis Enarson signature Rig line is now in stock. Rig tires (2.25 & 2.4), 24mm Rig cranks (170/175 in black and chrome), as well as the 24mm Mugatu splined sprockets, and Rig bars (dropped earlier this year). These parts have been on Dennis’ bike for almost a year already and he swears by them. Hit up your local Demolition Parts dealer for more info on how to order.
We just got in our all new Demolition Machete tires in stock! You might be asking yourself what’s so different with them? We moved manufacturers with our mold for an all new and improved tire. And since we moved manufacturers we decided to make it into a 2.4 as well.
New Machete specs include:
- Select Ultra is our all new dual density compound that is 20% stronger, and more durable over a longer period of time to prevent rubber hardness or cracks.
- Stronger nylon cord plies to form the body of the tire
- New 4 cord wire bead steel cables to create a stronger backbone of the tire. Click more to see/ read more.
After being out of stock for an extended time we’ve finally gotten Ronnie Napolitan’s signature “Combat” bars back in stock in black. If you’ve been waiting for these 8.8″ dream bars to come back in stock, then swoop one up before they’re gone again! You can find them or order them at any local Demolition dealer or online mail order.
We just got in the all new Markit Pivotal seats that comes with an all new reinforced/ hidden base and comes with the same black denim fabric and look as the Markit Tripod. Pick yours up at your local Demolition dealer now!
We know saying, “THE LAST CASSETTE HUB YOU’LL NEED TO BUY” is a big statement but we back the Rolls hub so much that we have no problems saying that.
Switch Drive System (SDS), allows the 1-pc driver to easily flip pawls from RHD to LHD. 14mm heat-treated axle w/ allen insert (also available w/ male into female axle) for easy removal. 2 large sealed bearings (#6902) in the 6061 T6 shell. Polymer bushing sleeve in the driver that will never blow-out, guaranteed! Kris Fox approved.

We just got in our new 2014 summer t-shirts and figured what better way to show off our new shirts other than a with a good crew with some summer activities; beer, ping pong, riding, barbecuing, and shooting photos in the back of the warehouse. Check em all out in the flipbook and either hit up your local Demolition dealer or go to our online store to purchase. Thanks to Biz, Enns, Clemens and Fox for stopping by and modeling for Joey.
Couple months back BMX Plus mag did a product prospective on “What is your favorite product that you have come out with over the years?”
I guess I could go on and on about an old part that we revolutionized in BMX in the past or that we used new space aged tubing only used on the Apollo 13 ship but since I also try and ride every day, I personally like new and improved products that are always coming out. My favorite product that we recently spent some time on that I’m especially excited about still is our Demolition Trooper Aluminum pedal. I was a huge fan of those old Profile Gas pedals that had the pin down the middle of the body that slowed down the rotation spin of the spindle (for no-footed tricks) but they discontinued them after a short run. Since I never forgot about those pedals and I always wanted to design something like that in that they didn’t spin like crazy but didn’t ruin the bearing or had a pin due to it being overtightened. We looked into a number of needle bearings and etc to keep the platform pofile slim but also didn’t want bearings to blow out. After numerous tests, we came up with the full bushing system with rubber seals that still allows the pedal to spin amazing but the rotation isn’t loose or spins freely and also comes with a CNC, heat treated CRMO spindle. That and those suckers last forever! – Brian Castillo
Kris Fox’s signature Stylus front load stem is in and looking so clean and stylish. We’re loving the Axes logo he chose for the front plate. The Stylus is very similar to our other stems available in that it’s the perfect balance between material, weight, and internal/external machine without any extra gimmicks added or taken away from it. Just like Kris’s riding; clean, stylish, and without any of the added unnecessary extras. Hit up your local shop or mail order to check it out and get one coming to you.
Dennis Enarson and good friend, Christian Rigal originally set out to make a quick lil promo video for Dennis’ new Rig line of parts but ended up coming back with 6 minutes of bangers on just about everything rideable from SD to SF. There’s not enough words that can describe how good Dennis is on a bike and how much control he has on dirt, street and ramps. Dennis’ Rig line bars (out now), tires and cranks are fully designed and tested (thoroughly by the looks of this video) by Dennis himself. Watch now and be ready to get stoked.
We’ve been knocking out some How-To’s lately in the office and our next one is ready. It shows the in’s and out’s of taking the Rolls V2 hub apart and switching it between LHD and RHD using the Switch Drive System (SDS). Filmed and edited by our very own Josh Clemens (@joshclemens) and brought to you by Kevin. (Seems like Kevin’s got some acting experience)
We just got our new Connor Lodes signature “Top Lodes” stems in stock not too long ago and they turned out amazing. The Top Lodes is a nice and mellow top load stem if you’re looking for a stem that doesn’t have as much rise (or drop) as a traditional top load, but still want a traditional reach. It’s also got a great old school style with clean modern lines. And like Connor, it’s perfect for dialing in your nose manuals. Hit up your local shop or favorite mail-order to get one special ordered….And don’t forget to check out his signature Axes pivotal while you’re at it.
Kurt over at the BMX Union visited us at QBP’s annual big Frostbike 2014 to see what we had in store and see what was in the works. Check it all out at BMX Union HERE. Above pic is QBP’s exclusive colorway on our Trooper PC pedal and Missile Grip.

The fine people over at the Albion did a cool new product feature called Dependables with Chris Doyle. “Like Trigger and his broom, we’ve all had parts that stand the test of time. Parts that have stood by us over years, unsurpassed by new models. Here Chris Doyle talks us through his five ‘game-changer’ BMX products that he trusts more than any other.” #4 is of Chris’ pivotal Anthem seat, be sure to check it out.
One of my favorite favorite front hubs that we’ve done here at Demolition. Some of the other front hubs that have bearings pressed up against the end of the shell that don’t have the lip blow-out over time due to stress on the shell. With the Ghost hub, the bearings are pressed further into the hub body to prevent any stress towards the outside of the shell. See for yourself… Click image to go big.
Ronnie’s video part in the new Markit Zero DVD is full of insane, well rounded riding and I’m proud to say that his Combat bar went the distance with him. If you’ve seen his part and believe when I say that his signature 8.8″ Rise COMBAT bars were on throughout almost all of his whole part, that’s even more nuts. If you don’t believe me, please buy the Markit DVD and see for yourself. Above was his last Combat bar promo that is chock full of insane riding on just about anything you can think of.
We just got in our new SDS (Switch Drive System) Rolls V2 hubs in stock with 14mm axles. Same great internals and flawless driver system as before. Check out the internals through the X-Ray above to see how the hub is built. Click image to go BIG.

Be on the lookout for the promo too!

The Albion is doing a cool new online section called Inventory (everything to do with parts) and one of their first features is on the history of our Dumbchuck pegs. Check out the full feature HERE.
“We really just wanted to produce a park peg to help have bikes legal or have less hassle at cement skateparks where bikes/ pegs were illegal. At the time we weren’t thinking the plastic pegs would be used 100% for street, we just knew they couldn’t damage the parks as much and no one would be able to complain about them. A few years later, our team guys noticed how good they grind on everything on street with the addition of just a bit of wax.”

Get one pre-ordered from your local shop if you’re looking for a new bike. And head over to Volume Bikes to get the low down and see all the colors.
I think it’s safe to say that Ronnie kills it on the BMX, sometimes too hard. I swear I’ve heard his bike cry underneath him while he destroys any streets, trails, or parks that cross his path. So who better to design a bar that can handle the abuse of a giant viking and at the same time give you that fine handling that allows for even the most delicate technical wizardry. The result of this delicate balance between strength and performance is the COMBAT BAR, click play and see what Ronnie can do with these bars and what these bars can do for you! Filmed and Edited by Mike Mastroni!
Proud to finally announce the release of Ronnie Napolitan’s all new Combat bar. Ronnie has been testing the 8.8″ rise bar for awhile now and have loved them from the first time he put them on. If you follow us on instagram or facebook, you’ll know we’ve been working on some wax. Production has arrived and we love the final product. It comes in a 6.3 oz Soap Bar Wax block in white. Our team really wanted the wax in white so they could wax up their spots without staining them different colors which would eventually get their spots blown up and shut down. And, with it’s delightful aroma it’s sure to keep your ledge or rail smelling right and under the radar. So hit up your LBS for a bar or six.
Our new Gum colorway in grips is finally out and came out really well too. Our goal was to have them match our tires to offer a full rubber Gum/Tan colorway.
