Our new Dumbchuck pegs got some love on Dan’s Comp/ Vital BMX’s Gear Guide 79. Thanks guys!
I don’t know which RIDE staff guy made this but it’s amazing. I normally hate talking on camera but the Mexican music makes it that much better. If you wait till the very end, you can also see me rapping. Machete tires did get delayed and should see them middle of March.
With all the talk about plastic pegs lately, we thought we’d show off our new Dumbchuck pegs off a bit. We first brought out the first Dumbchuck pegs 6-somethin’ years ago. They first started out from Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla wanting something slicker for grinding on rough ledges. The progression of the Dumbchuck hasn’t changed too much over the years. They now have a harder/ more durable nylon outer shell material and still has the same 7075 Al inner sleeve. They’ve also gotten smaller (ø1.5″) over the years to progress with how small the dropouts are these days. They also weigh in at a cool 3.5oz. Click images to go BIG. Check more to see more on the Dumbchuck.
We showed a couple of our new Pivotal seat sample collabs at Frostbike over the weekend and got a great response. Since a couple other bloggers put up the pics, we thought we’d show them off too. Keep in mind that these are samples and they’re a ways off from production still. The first one is with Anthem/ Doyle and proceeds going to Mike Tag. Doyle wanted the smaller 5mm padding, soft leather top with embossed logo with contrasting bumpers.
The next is with our homies over at Markit/ Dennis Enarson. This seat is very similar to our D-Fat saddle except we used a very soft suede top and embroidered M logo. Click image to see images BIG

It honestly didn’t dawn on me till recently that our double walled Zero rim has been in production for over a decade. It’s literally one of our longest standing products that has stood the test of time. In the ever-changing world of bmx components and how things have developed into space-age metals and designs, the Zero rim is still strong as hell and still looks like any modern day rim today. Now available in Marble too, check out more on our iconic Zero rims here >>
BMXunion.com just dropped a big post on our Dennis Enarson Rig cranks, check out the full writeup HERE for the full scoop.

We’re damn excited for them all to arrive and show them off to the masses asap but in the meantime, you can just drool from the above photo.
Dennis Enarson just dropped an unreal edit this week for Haro. It really is mind-blowing. It’s unbelievable how good Dennis is, how he can not only pull the most insane tricks and lines, but make them look effortless; even when he does them opposite. Then to find out he pretty much had a bum back during the filming makes it that much more jaw-dropping. If there was ever a stamp of approval and endorsement of reliability for Dennis’s Rig line, then that was it. Rig bars, tires, and 24mm cranks all taking the beating and rolling on. Check out what the man himself had to say in Rig Line interview we did with him last Sept here>>
All our new Marble aluminum parts are due out end of March and since we are still like lil’ kids in a candy store, we decided to build up a bike with all the new Marble parts we have coming out. Don’t mean to be too biased but damn it looks sick!! Click more to see em in all their glory.
Remember those days of hanging posters up on your wall and just staring at them for hours? While BMX posters might be a lost art, we try and do our best to keep the dream alive. This batch with Dennis (above), Tyler, and Hucker are ones that we’re so stoked to see in poster format. They’re all absolutely nuts! And yes, they’re already on my wall. Click more to see all 3. Get at the 18″X24″ posters for 1 penny on our online store HERE>>
BMX Union just put up a Sneak Peek of our new Marble aluminum kit. Check it out HERE and get ready for it all to launch this March!
We’re so stoked to finally get out our new 2015 goods this year that we’ve been showing off since 2014’s Interbike show. We just whipped up our new parts catalog with everything you can expect to see that’s either out now or very shortly soon to come. The front of the poster is possibly one of the best photos we’ve put out too, we’ll have that post up shortly and how you can get a poster too. Click HERE to view it BIG.
The Dennis Enarson Rig Bars got some new love with an all new sticker and are available now. Dennis and us are super stoked on the new sticker by Nick Sawyers. You probably know Nick’s art work from the Markit Zero DVD cover but if you don’t, I’m sure you’ll love the new crossbar sticker on Dennis’ new bar. Get at em HERE for all the specs!
We’ve been showing off our Axes grips on social media since we got samples of them a couple weeks ago but never really wrote anything about them in detail till now. They’re still a ways out and scheduled to release beginning of next year but figure we’d show em off now regardless. They’re coming in non flange (150mm length) and flange (155mm length) versions and with an outer diameter of ø31mm. For all those that like a bit meaty grip that is comfy as hell, these are worth the wait.
When I was a kid I used to dream of new parts coming out and what the hottest thing was at that time was. I feel like Dennis’ Rig line is that for me now. I’m pumped on every item (Rig Bar / Rig Tire / Rig Crank) and how f-n strong/ durable they are. That little kid in me was stoked to see this photo that J.Cobbs shot of all the parts together. Hit the photo to go BIG! While you’re at it, check out Dennis’ last interview about the whole line here>>
RIDEbmx‘s Interbike video of our very own sales rep, Kevin Rust running you through some of the new goods at Interbike 2014.

Dennis’ Rig line has officially all landed and we couldn’t be more stoked to get them out there and have you guys just as stoked on them as us. These 3 parts have been through the ringer with multiple heavy hitters, and Dennis himself, riding them all year. Dennis would not let us get them out there till the parts went through full testing and he was 100% satisfied with how they came out. Between his busy schedule we we caught up with Dennis about his new Rig line for a mini interview about the parts and what goes into each one. Hit more to see/ read more.
The Tripod seat/ post has been around a bit now and think most brands have moved over to it for it’s simplicity and function. They just got a website and this cool video to go along with it. Check it out and maybe this will help your decision to convert.
“We use the Tripod because it’s simple, lightweight, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Our rider’s specifically requested it for those reasons and we approve.” – Brian Castillo / Demolition Parts
Another year, another Interbike in Vegas. We can’t believe it’s already that time again. Didn’t we just ring in the new year not too long ago? If you’re going to be at Interbike next week, then stop by the booth, get some free items in these handy, biodegradable 180 Dist bags we’ll be giving out, and check out our new Demolition parts that we’re offering up for 2014/15. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes getting another dialed line up going and we’re excited with all of the new colors, new completes, and new products. We’ve got a lot to show and we’re really excited to get them out there and see what people think. See you at booth 3103.
