Chasing Markit in BCN

The Markit crew made the trek across the pond this week to Barcelona to wrap up filming for their first full length DVD, Markit Zero. Because they are so rad, they let me tag along and document the insanity. The first two days have been amazing, there are so many things to see on the way to every spot that its a constant mix of sight seeing and BMX. Click on the post to check out the rest of the photos from the first two days of Markit in BCN.

Aaron and Chris on KINK’s #JustCruising

Earlier this year Kink put together a trip called #JustCruising, where they hopped on a Caribbean cruise ship and rode spots throughout the ports they stopped at. Demolition’s Aaron Smith and Chris Doyle were lucky enough to earn spots on the trip and partake in the festivities, so hit play and check out their adventure!

Dennis, Rob, Christian and Connor on MARKIT’S Breaking ABQ!

Dennis, Rob, Christian and Connor were all been out in Albequrqe last week on Markit’s BreakingABQ trip. They guys have been going hard filming but have been making sure to have just as much fun off the bike as on. One of the days was blown out by the wind so the guys decided to go hiking in the desert while Dennis hit Mike Jonas with sticks. Be sure to check out the Markit site for web gallery updates from the trip.

Slice of Life from Lost in LoneStar

Here is a little slice of life while NOT on the bikes during Lost In LoneStar. The house we rented had an awesome BBQ so of course we had a BBQ! And when Dennis Enarsron is around you can be sure whatever fire that also happens to be around is going to be BIG! And with support from Senior Ronaldo and Corona there’s no telling what may happen. This is how Dennis and Ronnie get the coals glowin’ on Lost In LoneStar!

Defgrip’s DISPOSED; Ticos and Tamales Tour 2013

Last month the Demolition Team had the honor of traveling down to Costa Rica to cruise around for a week meeting Ticos and Ticas and eating Tamales! Well, not a ton of tamales were eaten but we did meet a lot of Costa Ricans and we did have the chance to shoot our very first DISPOSED feature for our friends over a DefGrip. I’ve always loved clicking through their DISPOSED features so I’m stoked that Demolition Parts has gotten to do one. So waste no more time, click HERE and check out Demolition’s Ticos and Tamales Tour DISPOSED!!!

Rob’s Table is Lost In LoneStar!

I know that’s probably the worst blog post title of all time but Rob’s table air redeems this post from its lack of title creativity. We found this ditch setup on the side of the road while driving to another spot and it turned out to be one of the more unique spots of the trip. Rob’s air may make this setup look Amazing, but believe me, Rob is making this thing look a lot easier to ride than it really is. Be sure to click on the post and save Rob’s table as your new wallpaper!

Ticos and Tamales: the final post

Day 4 of Ticos and Tamales was awesome, we rode street all throughout San Jose and got to really take in the city, the locals and the spots. Then as I’m sure many of you have heard our trip came to a screeching halt when all our camera bags along with Connor’s bag were stolen out of the back of our van while at the local BMX contest. Getting all your most precious belongings stolen from you when you least expect it is never the way you want to end a trip but unfortunately for us this is the way this trip has wrapped up. We will be here in Costa Rica for a few more days but we’re pretty much confined to watching DVDs and gambling at the local casino until we leave. We have had tons of support from the local BMX community and want to thank them for their hospitality while we have been in their country. Pura Vida COSTA RICA! The next time we see each other it will be happier times!

Ticos and Tamales Tour: Day 3

Day 3 has come to an end and it was the craziest day yet. We started off the day with press conference on Costa Rican TV promoting the sport of BMX in Costa Rica, as well as their largest bmx contest, BMX PARK CONTEST. We then hit up Braulio’s shop for an awesome shop stop with the coolest locals ever. It’s weird to think that we don’t speak the same language but can totally relate to each other through BMX, which is so rad. We then got on the bikes and rode street in San Jose for the rest of the day. The traffic and the driving habits in San Jose are completely insane, Braulio told us it was a jungle in the streets and he wasn’t kidding! With cars, motorcycles and busses zipping by within inches of us without tapping the brakes we were looking over our shoulder with every move made. Stay tuned for more updates from this wild adventure and follow us on instagram at @DemolitionParts and #TicosAndTamales

Ticos and Tamales Tour Day 1 & 2

The Ticos and Tamales Tour is underway and already there is just too much craziness to recap. We’ve hit up three shop stops so far and they have all been so rad, the locals and shop owners couldn’t have been cooler. Costa Rica is amazing, between the locals, the rain forrest, the cities, and the spots, its been eye opening to say the least and we’re only two days into the trip. There are a ton of photos in this first gallery, from riding to the locals being locals, be sure to click on the post and check out all the images.

Also, be sure to check back for more updates from our Ticos and Tamales Tour and be sure to follow our trip on instagram at #TicosAndTamales

And a Huge Huge thanks to Braulio and Jeff at Inversions Jovita for hooking everything up and already making this trip a memorable one.
